Level 1

DRAWING, PAINTING, COLLAGE: BASIC TECHNIQUES, MATERIALS AND TOOLS
Day 1
Introductory Lecture. Brief information about the materials and tools of drawing.
• Types and techniques of painting and drawing. Sketching.
• Choosing the best compositional and color solutions. Sketching.
• Still Life "Bouquet in a vase" or "Flower in a pot". Mixed technique.

Day 2
• Drawings in tone and color.
• Botanical illustration or Copy of the Master's work. Watercolor, gouache, colored pencils.


Day 3
• Drawings in tone and color.
• Etudes and sketches of plants. Watercolor, gouache, graphics.
Day 4
• Drawings in tone and color. Nature sketches.
• Etudes and sketches of landscape gardening. The Park of the St. Petersburg State Forest Technical University. Plein air. Watercolor, gouache, graphics.
Day 5
• Nature sketches. Museum Gardens of St. Petersburg: Summer Garden, Mikhailovsky Garden. Sketches and drafts of landscape garden. Plein air. Watercolor, gouache, graphics.
Day 6
• Nature sketches. Museum Gardens of St. Petersburg: Summer Garden, Mikhailovsky Garden. Sketches and drafts of landscape garden. Plein air. Watercolor, gouache, graphics.
Day 7
Final exhibition. Viewing and discussion of works.
Level 2

PAINTING AS A SYSTEM OF ETHICAL AND AESTHETIC VALUES. COLOR HARMONY. DRAWING AND COLOR-GRAPHIC COMPOSITION.
Day 8
• Etudes and full-scale sketches of a landscape with architectural elements.
Etudes and sketches of the landscape. The Park of the St. Petersburg State Forest Technical University. Plein air. Watercolor, gouache, graphics.
Day 9
The color circle and color contrasts. Creative composition "My image of nature". Collage.
Day 10
"The City on the Neva River. Bridges, rivers and canals of St. Petersburg. Nature sketches. Sketches and sketches of historical places of St. Petersburg. Plein air. Watercolor, gouache, graphics.

Day 11
"Night St. Petersburg. Nature sketches.
Series of sketches. Plein air. Watercolor, gouache, graphics.
Day 12
The color circle and the basis for color harmony.
Color and graphic composition "My Image of Light" based on the previous theme. Mixed technique.
Day 13
Final exhibition. Viewing and discussion of works.
